The end of the year is fast approaching!
We wish our Year 6 students well at their upcoming orientation sessions. The step up from Primary to High School can be daunting but is also very exciting.
The weather is starting to warm up and I urge all students to remember their water bottles every day and their hats. Students with no hat are expected to play in the shaded areas.
Congratulations to our marvellous P&C for the disco last week. I understand that it was a great night and also a great fundraiser. Thank you to all of our families for supporting the event.
I can’t wait for Arbor Day in the last week of term. This is a great day with a range of fun activities organised. This is just reward for our students that have demonstrated the ARBOR values all year. This is an invitation only event and unfortunately some students have made poor behavioural choices that will not earn them an invitation.
Planning for the Year 6 Graduation and the end of year Awards Assembly are progressing well and it will be great to have these events operating as they did pre- COVID.
Kindergarten 2022
I would urge any parents with kindergarten aged students in 2022 to enrol now as spots are filling fast. We will commence a “waiting list” as soon as we reach 80 enrolments.
2022
It is very important that families that are leaving us this year let the school know at the earliest opportunity. This information will be essential to ensure the accuracy of our planning and preparations for 2022.

We have been learning about the six Noongyar Seasons with Mrs Butcher. For our class assembly, we have been learning the song, ‘Bibbulmum Bonar: Six Seasons’.
We formed six groups, each group has painted a backdrop for our assembly that represents their season. The six seasons are Birak, Boonaroo, Djiran, Mookaroo, Djilba, Kambarang.
Mobile Phone Locker Keys
As Thursday 16 December is the last day for students to attend, we would like all students to return their mobile locker keys to the office as they arrive to school. On this day, students will be asked to keep their mobile phones in their classrooms.
