I would like to congratulate all the students that auditioned for the talent quest. Whilst not every student was successful in making the final show it is pleasing to see so many students embracing music and dance.

Allergy Aware

I would like to remind all parents that we have a number of students with severe food allergies to nuts and eggs. I would encourage all parents to be considerate of this when preparing lunch and recess for their children. There are notices on class windows should there be a student with a food allergy.

2020 Student Classes

This year we will again be advising ALL students of their classroom and teacher for 2020 before they start their holidays. Students will receive a note to take home in week 10 with the information. Our rationale for this is to reduce any stress or anxiety for students prior to the commencement of the new school year. We will continue with the SMS just prior to the start of the new school year for those that may misplace the note.

Bikes and Scooters

We ask parents to ensure that should their children ride scooters or bicycles to school, they have the appropriate safety equipment such as helmets, knee pads etc. This will ensure that in the event of an accident that the child has some protection from serious injury.

I would also like to remind students that bicycles and scooters are to be walked on the school grounds. Skateboards are not allowed at school.

ARBOR DAY

Please remember that on Arbor Day students are required to attend in school uniform, with bathers, hat, a rash shirt and a towel in their school bag ready for the fun activities. This should be another amazing day of fun activities for all students that have consistently demonstrated the school’s ARBOR Values.
