Specially marked bottles will be arriving in each classroom shortly, so start collecting those silver coins.
Mid Year Disco
FRIDAY 28 JUNE 2019
Our first disco for the year has a COUNTRY & WESTERN theme. Come dressed in your best country and western outfit. Rewards for the best dress. Tickets are just $7 and includes glowsticks.
Orders due Monday 24 June.
Don’t forget to bring some extra spending money on the night!

Soup Sundowner and Sausage Sizzle
While the kids are at the disco why not take advantage of mingling with other parents while enjoying a free cup of soup. The P&C will also have the BBQ fired up with sausage sizzles and drinks available to purchase.
Volunteers Required
We are looking for lots of volunteers to help us out at both the disco and on the BBQ as well as with setting up (from 3pm) and pack down. If you can spare some time, please complete the info at the bottom of the disco order form or on the flyer below.

School Banking
Enhance the School Banking experience with the CommBank Youth app. The CommBank Youth app is a fun, secure way for your child to learn digital money skills. They can:

Scholastic Book Club
Issue 4 has just been sent home and is due back by 3pm 19 June 2019. Winter is a great time to snuggle down and read a good book. Make sure you check out issue 4, there are over 40 items for $5 or less.

P&C Busy Bee
Thank you to the parents and their families that braved the weather to help plant out the nature playground. We had great fun weeding, planting and mulching all in time for the rain to water it all in.
Special thanks to Amy for organising plants, Jenna for her amazing stepping stones, Kim from Swan Valley Earthmoving for collecting and delivering mulch and Benara Nurseries for their generous donation of plants.
We are excited to see the plants enrich the playground once established.
Canteen
We survived the swimming craziness. Thank you to everyone that still ordered their children’s lunches and those that volunteered to get the lunches out on time. We really appreciated your help.
The end of the term is fast approaching, and we will be having an End of Term Special Crust Lunch Deal on the last day of school. Kindy EC5c and EC7a (Thursday class) and year 5’s will be held on Thursday 4 July and the remainder of the school including EC5 and EC7 (Friday classes) will be held on 5 July. Flyers and order forms have been sent out on Monday 10 July. Please see the canteen for an order form if you have not received one already.
