The theme is “To Book Fair and Beyond” and is everything about space!
We’re looking for donations and loans of things space themed; rockets, spaceships, UFOs, Aliens, astronauts, planets, anything ‘space’ that lights up, stars - anything you would like to loan to set the mood for our Book Fair.
Posters will start appearing around the school asking for volunteers to help set up and pack down, so keep your eyes open. There will be competitions with prizes and of course many options for purchases; in person with cash or card, over the phone or even online! Books start from as little as $5 and there will be stationery and posters too.
So get your thinking caps on and make sure to bring your towel!
“The towel is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.” (Douglas Adams)

On Friday 19 March, the staff and students at Arbor Grove will be supporting and participating in the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.
Students have been learning about this day and what bullying is. It is important that students understand what bullying is
and isn’t, and some strategies to deal with it, if it occurs to them or a friend. It is also important that students understand what bystanders are and how they can assist someone who is being bullied. Cyber-bullying is also an area covered as this can be an emerging problem for older students.
Each class has been creating posters to display around the school to promote a bully free zone at Arbor Grove PS.
Visit the bullying no way website for more information and strategies.
