Principal's Perspective
Well winter has arrived! We are beginning to experience some cold weather and I would encourage all students to ensure they have warm clothing (with their name clearly marked).
Sick
Parents are reminded that children should remain home when they are unwell. This is particularly important during the winter months to avoid the spread of flu and other illness.
It is also important that parents who are sick make alternate arrangements, wherever possible, for the collection of their children rather than come into the school grounds.
Science Incursion
This week the students enjoyed an amazing Supersonic science incursion. My Thanks to Ms Irvine and Mrs Jones for their organisation of the event. It looked amazing and the kids were enthralled.
Winter Carnival
This Friday (weather permitting) the year 5 and 6 students have their Winter Sports Carnival across a range of sports. Our fingers are crossed that the weather outlook improves.
Swimming Lessons
Students in years PP - year 4 will be heading off to swimming lessons in the last two weeks of the term. Whilst not compulsory, we encourage all students to attend and learn to swim. WA has lots of coast line and swimming pools so learning to swim is very important.
School Survey
The biennial school survey is available for completion by parents until the end of term 2. Please follow the link below to complete the survey. Your feedback is very important to the school and our ongoing quest to improve and provide improved outcomes for students.
