Swimming Lessons
Swimming Lessons will be conducted at Swan Active Midland, 16 Gray Dr Midvale, between Monday 21 June and Friday 2 July, Weeks 10 and 11 of term 2. Swimming group 1, Room 6, 10 and 13, will need to be at school no later than 8:30am to ensure that we can leave school by 8:45am. Swimming group 6, Room 8, 12 and 17, will return to school at 3:00pm. Lesson times are as below:
Please ensure all clothes, goggles and towels are clearly marked with your child’s full name. Students will need to wear their bathers under their clothes on the way to the pool. Students are encouraged to wear thongs to and from the pool due to time limitations.
For safety reasons it will not be possible for parents to collect their children from the pool unless arrangements have been made with the school 24 hours earlier. If you have any concerns, please contact Mr Williams.
Times Table Charts
Thank you to Jessica Shaw for supplying all our year 1 students with a new Times Table Chart. Our year 1 students are very excited to be able to practice their tables at home now as well as at school.
School Sports WA State Basketball Selection
Congratulations to Keira from year 6 who has been selected in the School Sports WA state team for basketball. Keira has been selected out of hundreds of students who trialled for the team. It takes a lot of hard work and commitment to get to this high level. We wish you all the best for the competition.

Amazing Supersonic Science Show!
On Tuesday students from Pre primary to year 6 were able to participate in a science incursion filled with explosions, fireballs and the largest cloud to be seen on the ground. Students were wowed by the demonstrations and a few lucky ones got to participate. Judging by the cheering during the session and the chatter after in classrooms it appears that the students had an awesome time.
