P&C

P_C.jpg

Fresh ideas and skills always welcome!

Are you new to school and the area?  Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other parents and build new friendships. Becoming a member is as simple as coming to meetings and getting involved.

Sub Committees are an essential part of the P&C. They are formed by P&C members; get togethers are less formal than the general P&C meeting and it is where topics are discussed in full detail. Suggestions of solutions or motions are then taken to the general P&C meeting.  Sub committees are also the first point of call when volunteers are required.

Our P&C Sub Committees

  • Grounds and Amenity Committee
  • Canteen Committee
  • Fundraising Committee
  • Communication Committee

Choose as many committees as you would like to be a part of.

The vital role of Fundraising Coordinator for 2021 is still empty, please take a moment to consider the following.

Do you and your children enjoy the P&C events such as Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls, Disco’s, Rainbow Run, Sports Carnival cake stall and BBQ and School Fete just to name a few?

These events do not just happen by themselves. The Fundraising Committee headed by the Fundraising Coordinator work tirelessly to bring these events and joy to you, our school community. Without this key figure big events cannot move forward.

The Fundraising Coordinator,

  • Coordinates all fundraising activities
  • Delegates tasks to volunteers
  • Liaises & Oversees what committee and volunteers are doing
  • Ensures delegated tasks are completed
  • Presents written reports to the P&C outlining activities and results
  • Chairs Fundraising Committee (if there is one)

You do not need experience to do this job, just an interest in being involved. Yes, it may seem daunting; but Amy our Fundraising Coordinator of the past few years and Hayley our President, both with a wealth of knowledge, will be on hand to get you through.

Giving Back to our School

The P&C have the pleasure of committing $10,000 towards the purchase and installation of reverse cycle air-conditioning in the school library.

So far this year the P&C are excited to have committed almost $18,000 towards school projects.

Moving forward we will now look to raise funds to go towards helping our school with the building of a commercial kitchen. This is looking to be located off the side of the staffroom near the year 6 classrooms and it is where Breakfast Club, Cooking Club and FAST amongst other programmes can operate from.
